Peter Wilkin Pottery
Peter Wilkin has been a professional ceramic artist since 1983. Peter produces a full line of functional pottery, but he is best known for his large decorative patterns. He makes large platters and large slab pieces. The platters or chargers are functional, but most people choose to use them as wall decorations. The slab pieces can be individual or be a piece made up of multiple tiles. These tile installations can be custom ordered to fit your interior or exterior space. All Peter's work is made of stoneware clay, and is fired to Cone 10 reduction in a large gas kiln.
Meet the ARTIST
Peter started working in clay in high school. He set up his studio after graduating from the Kansas City Art Institute. His studio is at his home in Olathe, Kansas where he lives with his wife, Eva, who is also a potter.
